Brent Wetters For the 2009 edition of the Tour of the Battenkill, I opted for a set of the Ultremo DDs (Double Density). Unlike several teammates, I had no problems with flat tires, only my legs. Examining the tire after the race, I found several gouges in the sidewalls that surely would have destroyed lesser tires. And I continued to ride those tires for most of the summer without incident.
